
Iran America Conflict : The Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar on Tuesday announced the resumption of its air traffic after briefly closing its airspace amid missile attacks by Iran. This came after US President Donald Trump announced he had managed to broker a truce between Israel and Iran to end hostilities amid unrest in the Middle East.
“The General Civil Aviation Authority announces the resumption of air traffic in the airspace of the State of Qatar and the return of the atmosphere to normal, after taking the necessary measures in coordination with the relevant authorities. The Authority commends the great cooperation shown by all partners and the efforts of all state entities to ensure the safety and security of aviation in Qatari airspace,” CAA Qatar posted on X.
Iran America Conflict As soon as the news of the ceasefire came, IndiGo also issued a travel advisory saying operations were being resumed on the routes in the Middle East after carefully assessing the situation.
“As airports across the Middle East gradually reopen, we are prudently and progressively resuming operations on these routes. We continue to monitor the situation closely and are fully considering the safest available flight paths to ensure secure and seamless travel. Please stay updated via our mobile app or website,” the advisory read.
Iran America Conflict targeted US airbases located in Qatar after the American Forces bombed three key Tehran’s nuclear sites. There were no casualties reported but the airspace in Qatar was closed as a precautionary measure.
Donald Trump announced that an agreement on a ceasefire had been reached after both sides reached the US for a truce. However, Iran refuted US President’s claims, asserting that there was no such deal and a decision over this will be made later.
