
Deepika Padukone has added another feather to her crown of achievements as she has been selected as one of the recipients to be honoured as a converted star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026. The announcement was recently made on a Livestream from Ovation Hollywood on July 3. It makes her part of the roster of other big stars like Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci and Demi Moore. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s Walk of Fame selection panel picked Deepika’s name among the hundreds of nominations. Their choices were approved by the Chamber’s board on June 25. Padukone has reacted to the news of her being honoured and shared a Instagram story with a message, “Gratitude…”
Being a big superstar in Bollywood, Deepika tasted the fame in Hollywood with her debut XXX: Return of Xander Cage in 2017 opposite Vin Diesel. Her performance was highly appreciated by the audience. Her achievements are not limited to movies, as she is also a brand ambassador for luxury fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and Cartier. With this, she paved the way for Indian celebrities to join the wave in the coming years. Padukone was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME in 2018. Apart from that, she has also received the TIME100 Impact Award. Not only that, but Deepika also created history by unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy at the final match in Qatar.

She was last seen in Singham Again, which performed moderately at the box office despite being a multi-starrer movie. It had an India collection of Rs 247.85 crore. The film also featured Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Shweta Tiwari in key roles.
Apart from Singham Again, she was a pivotal part in Kalki 2898 AD. Which was one of the blockbusters of the year. It starred Prabhas, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan and Shobana in significant roles. The movie had a box office collection of Rs 646.31 crore.
Deepika Padukone will be next seen on the big screen in an untitled movie directed by the famous filmmaker Atlee.
